Charles and Camilla take off for Spain

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker- Bowles are starting the second leg of their ten-day tour of Europe today with a three-day visit to Spain.

The royal couple's tour, which began in Portugal, has been organised to help promote British business.

Their whistle-stop tour of Portugal included a visit to the Palace and Gardens of Monserrate in Sintra.

While staying in Madrid, the prince will meet with members of Spain's royal family, some of whom will be attending Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on 29 of April.

The prince's itinerary includes dinner at the Royal Palace in central Madrid (pictured).

They couple is then due to visit Seville before travelling to Morocco early next week.
