Prince Harry to join four-week Arctic trek

Updated

Prince Harry is set to show his support for wounded Aghanistan war veterans by joining a group on an expedition to the North Pole.

Harry will join the men at their base camp in northern Norway on 29 March, where he'll spend three days training and five days trekking with them.
The group consists of four soldiers who were seriously injured on active duty, including two amputees.

Harry, who's a patron of the Walking with the Wounded charity, said in a statement that the expedition is an enormous adventure and challenge.

The trip is expected to take four weeks in total - let's hope Harry's back for the small matter of being best man at the royal wedding!
