Updated

With the start of the Formula One season just days away it seems like a good opportunity to reacquaint ourselves with the two major tech changes for 2011.

The first is actually a reintroduction - after a season out thanks to team agreement, KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) is back on the grid, and it's joined by adjustable rear wings (or the Drag Reduction System).

We'll let Red Bull's Mark Webber explain how they work, but suffice to say both are intended to boost overtaking. If this snazzy animation is to be believed, they'll both work a charm.
