Video: Driver illustrates dangers of rubbernecking

No matter how much you rant and rave at those who slow down to look at a crash on the motorway, the temptation to take a peek when you get to the accident site is still quite strong.

But if there was ever evidence that it is better to just keep your eyes facing front and not check out the stricken car, then this video is it.

An American driver is so busy looking at the crash site, he fails to notice the large white police car, complete with flashing blue lights, that was attending the scene. Thankfully for us, a cameraman was also attending the crash site in St Louis, Missouri. Equally thankfully the police officers were out of the car at the time, and the driver wasn't badly hurt.
