Desperate dealers making customers pay miles more for extras

Desperate dealers are attracting buyers with lower list prices before making them pay for expensive optional extras that really should be standard, according to reports.

Some extras such as car mats are items that buyers might have expected to be standard while others, including sat-nav systems, are overpriced and will add nothing to a car's resale value.
