We've seen the future - and it's powered by screwdrivers

We've been daydreaming about building an Autoblog UK three-wheeler since we discovered drift trikes last month, but even our overactive collective imagination fell someway short of this skeletal oddity.

Built by a team at Hamburg University, the £860 EX is powered (literally) by two 18V electric screwdrivers and is steered by a special joint that turns the rear wheel depending on which way the rider tilts their body.
