Should you have to retake the driving test at 70?

Leading road safety groups and charities have told Autoblog they believe making drivers retake their test at 70 would not make roads safer.

The question as to whether drivers should be forced to re-sit their test comes up on a regular basis. Current legislation requires motorists to fill in a medical declaration to renew their licence at 70 and then every three years after that.
