First drive: Toyota Verso-S

Remember the Toyota Yaris Verso from the end of the nineties? I do, as it was the first press car I ever took home for the weekend and despite its gawky shape, I have to admit to being frankly amazed at the stuff you could get in it. It seems I wasn't alone, as the Toyota shifted some 160,000 in Europe until it was discontinued in 2005.

Well, six years on and in response to customer demand, Toyota has finally plugged their mini-MPV gap with this, the Verso-S . So what's new and sets this Toyota apart from established rivals such as the Citroen C3 Picasso and Vauxhall Meriva rivals?
