Lotus shows off stripped-out Elise Club Racer

Despite having a multitude of supercar wannabes in the production pipeline, Lotus's latest model is very much a throwback to the 'less-is-more' ethos.

The Elise Club Racer is aimed at customers who prefer track days to Saint-Tropez, and deletes a number of flabby extras like noise insulation, the radio, central locking and even the roof in the name of performance.
