Football stars top of the league of bad drivers

Considering the amount of money they earn and the fast, expensive cars they drive this shouldn't come as a surprise but it seems that professional football stars are the UK's worst drivers.

According to findings by insurance firm elephant.co.uk, 28.9 per cent of professional footballers - almost one in three - have flouted the rules of the road and paid the price with points, fines or worse still, bans.
