The safest cars on sale in the UK

More than a million people die in car accidents every year and although these are caused by a number of different reasons the majority is down to human error.

So until scientists and engineers come up with a solution that make car accidents history, motoring and consumer organisation Euro NCAP have released its list of the safest cars of 2011.
