Womb with a view: a novel spa experience
In pursuit of the ultimate in relaxation? Then try this for something different: a break at the Corallium Spa at the Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort on Gran Canaria, where a new therapy room aims to recreate the experience of being in the womb.
Pink carpets, soft lighting, red waterbeds and a revolving treatment area all combine to form the 'womb room' (pictured above), where guests are also treated to an in-utero soundtrack of gentle music. It's all meant to take you back to the protective, pre-birth state, which, in turn, is meant to bring about the ultimate chill-out buzz.
