Wholesale petrol price drop not being passed on to consumers

Fuel retailers are failing to pass on a drop in the wholesale price of petrol to their customers, according to the AA.

Drivers in other European countries have seen costs cut since the average wholesale price fell at the start of the year, but UK retailers are thought to be padding their profits after a slower than expected Christmas period.
