The rotary engine is not dead says Mazda

Mazda has said it still plans to use rotary engines in the future, despite the demise of the RX8 sports car last year due to emissions regulations.

The Japanese manufacturer is still working on the possibility of using the technology again in the future, but has not decided where to use it just yet.
