Audi testing Quattro version of the A1

Audi has announced that it is testing a four-wheel drive version of its MINI-rivalling A1 hatchback in Canada's freezing conditions.

Sadly it's just a one-off at the moment, which is a shame as we've got an A1 on test and think it could be a capable rally performer. This car has been developed to star in the 'Fascination of Quattro' event taking place in Montreal to celebrate the past, present and future of the legendary four-wheel drive system which reaches its 30th anniversary in 2010.
