Porsche reveals 918 RSR racer

Porsche has just announced details of the 918 RSR concept, which we hinted at a couple of hours ago and has just been unveiled in Detroit.

The 918 RSR is basically a two-seat, mid-engined racing coupe version of the 918 Spider revealed at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Fitted with the technology first seen in the 911 GT3 Hybrid race car, Porsche claim they have created a modern innovative super sports car and from the official pictures it's hard to disagree.
