MINI X-Raid team crashes out of Dakar

Following last year's news that MINI was making a return to international motorsport we'd been looking forward to the exploits of the X-Raid team's heavily modified MINI Countryman All4 in this month's Dakar Rally.

Unfortunately for driver Guerlain Chicherit and co-driver Michel Péri, early problems turned terminal after an incident that befell the team outside of the race proper.
