BMW unveils updated 1 Series Coupe

As well as handing the new 1 Series M Coupe its world premiere at next year's Detroit show, BMW will use the occasion to launch an updated version of the rest of the compact coupe and convertible range.

The mild facelift includes new lights front and rear, several new alloy wheel designs and the introduction of a redesigned splitter which apparently creates an 'air curtain' around the front wheels to reduce drag.
