Video: BBC teases Top Gear Christmas special

When it published its Christmas schedule last month the BBC revealed that the latest Top Gear special would see the team recreating the biblical journey of the three wise men. Now the marketing push begins with the first teaser video making its way onto the internet.

For fans of the world's biggest car show, the omens look good. Any episode of Top Gear which begins with Clarkson, May and Hammond donning helmets and flak jackets has got to be worth watching.

But the fact that the trio (and presumably a significant security entourage) start their trip to Bethlehem from the war-torn state of Iraq has to make this hour one of the potential jewels in the BBC Christmas crown.
