Revised Honda Jazz adds Hybrid to UK line up

Honda has launched a facelifted version of the Jazz supermini and confirmed that the Hybrid model will make it to the UK early next year with a £15,995 starting price.

New front and rear bumpers have been introduced to update the car's styling while leather upholstery is now included at the highest trim level.
There are further alterations underneath, where Honda engineers have revised the Jazz's suspension settings to offer better comfort, and retuned the steering for improved feel at speeds. The automatic CVT gearbox also makes a return to the range.

The 1.2 and 1.4-litre petrol engines remain the lineup's mainstays (albeit with marginally lower fuel consumption and emissions) but from February they will be complimented by the new Hybrid model.

The new car, which comes with the CVT transmission as standard, shares its powertrain with the Insight, and manages 62.8mpg while emitting 104g/km CO2.

Predictably, the Hybrid's increased economy does come at a premium – the petrol-electric tech makes it the range-topper – but Honda claims it boasts the lowest CO2 output of any automatic supermini.
