From Italy to Scotland – the Mondeo devours long journeys

Having been south to Italy in the summer, it was time for the Mondeo to head north in the autumn – from London to Edinburgh. Our production manager, Anna took her family up to the Festival and the car performed with its usual distinction.

Heavier British traffic meant lower cruising speeds than when it went to Italy, so fuel consumption rose from 38 mpg to 42 mpg – probably helped by the fact that the engine is loosening up now.
