Button hoping for a "boring 2011"

The podium trio from the Abu Dhabi GP - Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button - also have the three most recent Formula One championship titles between them. One year ago, Hamilton passed the number one over to Button who has now in turn handed it on to Vettel. "This has a knock-on effect," reveals Button. "When you haven't got the number one any more, you battle even harder to get it back. That's what we'll be doing next year."

Button's race was dominated by strategy: "It was an unusual race, because I stayed out on the soft tyres for so long. I got off to a good start and was getting close to Sebastian and Lewis. Then they pitted and I was on my own for 30 laps." But the experiment didn't work in the end, as Button emerged from his eventual pit stop behind Hamilton.
