European Opel Ampera gets hefty price tag

Opel has announced that its European version of the Ampera will cost 42,900 euros when it goes on sale at the end of 2011.

The Ampera, which is also to be badged as the Chevrolet Volt, will cost significantly more than the American version, which starts at only around $41,000 in the States.
