Webber understands RBR stance on team orders

Mark Webber knows just how much it would have helped his championship campaign if Red Bull Racing had imposed team orders to his advantage. Yet in the post-race interviews, the Australian was keen to emphasise that he understands and accepts the stance his team has taken.

That's why he won't be counting on any extra help in Abu Dhabi. Webber needs to close an eight-point gap on Fernando Alonso, so a victory with the Spaniard in second place will not be good enough. Even so, he wouldn't be drawn on whether Red Bull should have shuffled the two race leaders round in Brazil to ensure that he won instead of Sebastian Vettel.
