Over-50s to make up 40 percent of drivers by 2035

The UK's motoring population is set to age significantly over the next 25 years, with the over-50 group due to make up 40 percent of the population by 2035.

This is a substantial rise over the current size of the over-50 segment, which stands at 32 percent at the moment.
