Top Gear to get new racing driver from a 'Stig farm'
You may have heard that the Top Gear team has lost a member – their white-suited pet driver has left the team and it has left the three presenters with a dilemma about what to do next..
After speculation there would be no replacement, it seems that Clarkson, Hammond and May have got over their loss and decided to bring in a new Stig, even if it is just for the time being. But where to go to get one?
Well, a farm is the best bet apparently, with the trio heading down to a Stig breeding specialist if pictures seen in The Sun today are to be believed. All colours of Stig can be found there, but going by the sandals on the green version's feet, we doubt that one will take up the full-time role of piloting petrol-hungry supercars around the Top Gear track.
The latest Stig will be unveiled at Earl's Court in London next week as part of Top Gear Live, but TV producers have reportedly not yet decided whether a new one will be introduced for next year's new series.
