Video: Fifth Gear's Tiff Needell meets the Pagani Zonda R

Fifth Gear's resident ex-racing driver is notoriously excitable on camera even at the wheel of relatively humble machinery so you can imagine the level of screaming, shouting and grinning that resulted from his introduction to the £1m Pagani Zonda R.

Not that we blame him of course. There'd be a lot of eye-rolling, tongue-poking pleasure evident on our faces if we were handed the keys to a 750bhp, track-only hypercar.

It's a testimony to the sheer lunacy of the ultimate Zonda that the car forces Needell to pause his usual train-of-thought delivery and actually concentrate on spearing it round the track in silence.
