Alonso not writing Red Bull off

The champagne corks were popping at Ferrari after the Korean GP. Not just because the team were celebrating their fifth win of the season but also because the victory at Yeongam propelled Fernando Alonso to the top of the drivers' standings. "It was a fantastic day," says team principal Stefano Domenicali. "We've been able to turn our season around and now find ourselves in a much stronger position in the constructors' championship too. Even so, we have to stay level-headed."

Despite leading the drivers' championship, Ferrari and Fernando Alonso are not writing Red Bull off. They know that Formula One is about more than just mathematical probabilities. "It's a fabulous feeling, because the poor visibility made everything a bit unpredictable at the start of the race," revealed the Spaniard. "Visibility was the main problem today - just staying on the track was a big achievement."
