Red Bull's secret in qualifying

16 qualifyings, 13 pole positions. You don't have to be a mathematical genius to work out that the Red Bull is an amazingly quick car around a track. "The best thing about the Red Bull is its performance in qualifying," says Felipe Massa. As far as Massa is concerned, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel have an easy job, when it comes to posting a good lap time in qualifying.

"In qualifying, they often take a different tack as compared to the race," added Massa. "Sometimes, they don't have the quickest car in the race but they're on the front row, which helps enormously." Red Bull must still deliver the goods, though, which hasn't always happened.
