Drivers urged to make sure they snow what they're doing

Winter is well on the way and forecasters are predicting snow as early as this weekend in some parts of the country, and drivers are being urged to prepare carefully.

Kwik-Fit has said that four out of ten drivers had to put off a trip last winter when snow hit the country, and as many as 15 percent of motorists were involved in or witnessed an accident due to the conditions.
