Out of control steam engine destroys wall at 5mph

A driver on his way home from a Gloucestershire steam fair bounced off a car and demolished a wall as he lost control of his vehicle in the tiny hamlet of Ford – and it all happened at 5mph.

The vintage traction engine was left in a pile of scrap after the accident, and firefighters rushed to empty the steam from the machine, fearing an explosion.
