F1 driver promises overtaking at inaugural Korean Grand Prix

Updated

Karun Chandhok was invited to put in a few laps of the new circuit in Korea. In an interview with Autoblog UK, he spoke to us about this latest F1 venue.

Karun, you drove a few demo laps of the circuit in Korea before it was finalised and approved. What were your first impressions of the track?

Karun Chandhok: It's quite interesting, in fact. The layout is intriguing, with some long straights at the start and a few hairpin bends, so there should be scope for some overtaking there. From Turn 4 onwards, it's just one corner after another, some of which are high-speed bends that the drivers will really enjoy. And there are also some climbs and descents. I'm sure the drivers will like it and the fans will get to see some overtaking.
