The less-than great resale values for the Ford Mondeo are a blessing in some form – they have helped it to earn the title of Used Car of the Year from What Car? magazine.

The Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Zetec 5dr family car is worth an average of £8,600 after three years according to the judges, a saving of around £10,000 on its original price.
