Man aims to set mobility scooter speed record

A British man hopes to become a worldwide record holder this week by going faster than anyone has ever gone before – on a mobility scooter.

Colin Furze, 31, of Stamford in Lincolnshire, has adapted an ordinary mobility scooter to take the 125cc engine from his motocross bike – and it's capable of 70mph.
