Video: Lamborghini prototype caught testing at Nurburgring

Lamborghini has been spotted testing a secret new prototype at the Nurburgring – the Jota, as it is currently known, is apparently a replacement for the ageing Murcielago.

It is rumoured to contain a 700bhp V12 engine connected to a four-wheel drive system and be constructed using a lightweight aluminium space frame and carbon-fibre body panels.

The Jota won't be at Paris (surprisingly - this is possibly the first time in two months we've been able to say that about a car) but Lamborghini is rumoured to be unveiling a sub-1000kg V10 Gallardo replacement. Click below to watch the video and spy shots.
