Ranger Rover commissions street art to celebrate Evoque

Land Rover has commissioned four temporary works of art at famous Parisian landmarks to celebrate the launch of the new Evoque at the Paris motor show this week.

The pop-up installations are wire-frame sculptures of the new car and will sit at locations such as the Pompidou Centre and the Palais de Tokyo for the three days leading up to the big reveal.
The works of art have been designed by local French artists and are intended to showcase different aspects of the Evoque's design.

Land Rover chief of design, Gerry McGovern, said: "Paris is the first city to see the car and we wanted to mark its arrival with a series of unique installations that epitomise the car's city spirit."

The company claims the Evoque will be 'the smallest, lightest and most fuel-efficient Range Rover ever' when it goes on sale next summer.
