KTM unveils 300bhp X-Bow R

KTM is planning to launch an even more savage version of its road-legal X-Bow race machine next year.

Dubbed the X-Bow R, the car will get a new Audi engine which the manufacturer has tuned to develop around 300bhp - that's a 60bhp advantage over the standard model.

As well as the extra power the engine has been mounted lower in the X-Bow R which should mean the car is capable of even higher cornering speeds.
