Lamborghini reveals extreme Gallardo ahead of Paris show

Lamborghini will unveil a new lightweight special edition version of the Gallardo at the Paris motor show later this week.

The LP 570-4 Blancpain Edition is derived from the racing version of the supercar which compete in the Super Trofeo series.

The new model gets the rear spoiler and engine cover used in the one-make competition, and also boasts the lowest weight of any road-going Lamborghini thanks to carbon fibre components.
