Video: Mini Countryman WRC on test

World rallying looks set to be a lot more interesting next year and beyond as manufacturers start to take an interest in the series once again.

Mini is the first new car maker back into the series, with a limited programme in 2011 leading to a full assault on the world championship in 2012.

Here we have a video of rally great Marcus Gronholm testing a version of the new car on gravel stages at Ponte de Lima in Portugal. Whilst the looks may divide opinion, the sound certainly won't.
