Title fight draws to a close as fly-aways begin

Updated

After a four and a half month trek around Europe, the Formula One paddock is preparing for the final five-race fly-away assault to begin, starting off with the ever-enjoyable Singapore next weekend. With just five race weekends remaining until the destiny of the 2010 Formula One world drivers' championship is settled, more pressure than ever will be on the frontrunners to impress, but form and history at least has us looking in the direction of Red Bull Racing.

The long straights of Canada, Belgium and Italy had been singled out by Red Bull as their weakest trio of tracks thanks to their underpowered Renault engine, but with all future tracks featuring their fair share of slow, medium and high-speed corners without massively long straights, Red Bull's Webber and Vettel are in the pound seat, at least on paper.Looking at last year's races, Red Bull triumphed in Japan, Brazil and Abu Dhabi, while this year the RB6 has been mighty on street circuits, suggesting they will be the team to beat at Singapore too.
