As a former Impreza owner and rally nut, I've always felt a twinge of regret ever since Subaru pulled out of the World Rally Championship.

Watching Sebastien Loeb cruise to yet another victory is just another painful reminder of how far the Subaru World Rally Team fell after they reached the pinnacle of world rallying.

Let's face it, having to rely on privateers means an Impreza is unlikely to be on top of any podiums soon, so we have to give thanks for small mercies - and Travis Pastrana is one such saviour.
