Chinese car maker aims to arrive in UK by early 2011

Chinese car manufacturer Great Wall is planning to go ahead with the export of cars to the UK as early as next year, and is hoping to spread sales to the rest of the world from 2014 according to Shi Qingke, deputy general manager of the company's international department.

"Great Wall aims to export to the UK starting early next year, allowing us to break into the Western European market," Shi told Chinese English-language paper The Global Times.
