Chevrolet Cruze hatchback to appear at Paris

Chevrolet will reveal this handsome, five-door hatchback version of its popular Cruze saloon at this month's Paris motor show.

The Cruze saloon is the best-selling car of its type in the UK, but it is unlikely to see that kind of sales success in hatchback form – it would have to topple the Ford Focus and VW Golf to achieve that. But this new bodystyle will widen its appeal considerably, small family hatchbacks being the most popular car type in the UK and Europe.
