Lotus rumoured to be launching two hybrids in Paris
Feverish internet speculation always builds up ahead of a big motor show like Paris, but rumours abound that Lotus is preparing to launch two major hybrid models there.
US title AutoWeek has revealed that Lotus intends to debut a four-door hybrid hatchback and a two-door coupe that will use technology featured on the Evora 414E concept at Geneva in March (pictured).
The Evora hybrid featured two electric motors driving rear wheels independently, each producing 204hp and 295lb ft of torque and topped up by a lightweight 1.2-litre range-extending petrol engine.
