Fraudster jailed after repeatedly failing the driving tests he was paid to take

A fraudster has been jailed after he pleaded guilty to charging learners hundreds of pounds to sit their driving tests. To make matters worse, the 35-year-old repeatedly failed the exam, and even took tests when he was banned from driving.

Gageen Preet Singh, an Indian national, received up to £800 for each bungled attempt at passing the exam, and employed an array of disguises to impersonate his clients.

Singh had already served eight months for the same offence last year, but restarted his nationwide campaign the moment he was released.
