Video: Behind-the-scenes look at Porsche 918 Spyder

Of all the cars in the world currently under development, few generate as much excitement as the new Porsche 918 Spyder.

The awe-inspiring mix of plug-in hybrid efficiency, high-revving V8 engine performance and Porsche 917/Carrera GT looks makes the car a knee-trembling prospect for supercars in the 21st century.

We were lucky enough to see the car in the metal at the Geneva motor show, and can certainly testify it deserves all the attention being heaped on it. The 918 is destined for production now, but here's a behind the scenes look at the development of the original concept.
