New car sales fall for the first time in a year

The number of cars sold in July fell in comparison to last year for the first time in 12 months according to new figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

July saw 136,446 new cars sold, a drop of 13.2 percent compared to last July's figures of 157,149.
