Screen idol Diana Dors' Delahaye to fetch £4m at auction

For those old enough to remember, Diana Dors was one of the icons of British cinema and Britain's answer to Marlilyn Monroe. Indeed, she preceded Monroe by a few years and courted attention for much of her life.

Part of that life involved rich men with rich tastes and after she set up residence on the King's Road while still a teenager, she fast became a figure on London's social scene and could be seen frequently zipping up and down Chelsea alongside husband Dennis Hamilton in a powder-blue Cadillac.
