Live from the launch: Spot the Mini differences

Updated

The Mini range is undergoing the latest of its facial tweaks, but the alterations are so minimal that frankly we're struggling to see what's changed.

The differences are to be found on the hatch, convertible and Clubman versions, and amount to minor alterations to the grille, bumpers and light clusters that aren't really apparent even when old is placed next to new.

The big news is the change to the diesel engine that we have been driving today. The Cooper D hatchback now slots under the magic 100g/km mark for CO2 emissions at 99g/km, making it eligible for a free road tax disc. Inevitably there is a boost in price, with a rise of £570 to £15,730 over the old model.
