Rumours point to LA premiere for Porsche Cayman Clubsport

According to internet speculation the Porsche Cayman Clubsport could be set to make its debut at the LA motor show in November.

Several reports in the US claim that a lightweight version of the Cayman is destined for production next year after the car received a warm reception from dealers.

Speculation about the hardcore Clubsport model - which would likely prove the swansong of the current Cayman generation - has been circulating for some time. Like the Boxster Spyder, it would be a stripped out version of the standard car, and probably feature a tuned version of Porsche's 3.4-litre flat-six.
